Cosmotheism is a religion which positively asserts there is an internal meaning and purpose in life and in the cosmos. There is an essential unity, or consciousness that binds all living beings and all of the inorganic cosmos, as one. And what our true identity is this: we are the cosmos, made self-aware and self-conscious by evolution. Our undeniable human purpose, is to know and to complete ourselves as conscious individuals, and also as a self-aware species, and thereby to co-evolve with the cosmos towards total and universal awareness, and towards the ever-higher perfection of consciousness and being.

The best way to start understanding Cosmotheism more completely is to read the three Holy Books of Cosmotheism, which are The Path, On Living Things, and On Society. After this we have a list of suggested reading at The Library. Once you have taken these steps you are welcome to join us for discussion on the Cosmotheist forum.

Activism
Cosmotheism has made major break throughs within the last year. We now have a forum, a daily updated news site, an online radio feed, an official church web site, and a large online library of educational books and media. All of this has taken place in just over a year.

Like any movement, it is in our interest to expand, and we definitely believe it is in our peoples interest to expand our efforts into something larger.

After we have established ourselves online, the logical step is to form into a physical, real world Community. We call this "Community Folk Building."

Community Folk Building
One of the main reasons Cosmotheism has been unable to manifest into something larger than what it is today, is due to geographical separation of Cosmotheists around the world.

We must start to build connections within our communities and relocate closer to each other, to consolidate efforts in areas that would be most receptive to our views.

How we plan to do this, proposed ideas and plans will be posted here in different volumes through the months to come.
